We actively work to ensure AI reduces—rather than reinforces—bias. As a Black-led organization in a historically surveilled sector, we use AI only to support practitioners, not to police communities.

2. Transparency & Explainability

We make our AI features understandable and accessible. Practitioners have the right to know what data is used, how it works, and how it protects them.

3. Privacy, Consent & Data Protection

Motion Link uses privacy-by-design architecture. Sensitive information is encrypted, never sold, and never used for punitive or carceral purposes.

4. Accountability & Community Oversight

We commit to continuous auditing and community-driven feedback loops to ensure AI remains aligned with lived experience, field realities, and ethical public-safety practices.
